At MediQueue, we give you full control over your personal data. If you no longer wish to use our services, you can request to delete your account.
Our Data Deletion Policy
When you delete your account, we employ a soft deletion mechanism. This means:
- Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is permanently deleted: Your name, phone number, email address, profile picture, and any direct identifiers are completely removed from our active databases.
- Booking records are anonymized: Historical data regarding clinic visits and tokens are retained without any connection to your identity. These records are used strictly in aggregate for analytics and to improve clinic operations.
- Authentication is revoked: You will be immediately logged out and your credentials will no longer be valid.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In the App (Recommended)
- Open the MediQueue app on your iOS or Android device.
- Navigate to your Profile.
- Scroll down and tap on Delete Account.
- Confirm your choice in the prompt to immediately initiate the deletion process.
Option 2: Via Email Support
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at support@mediqueue.com from the email address associated with your account. Please use the subject line "Account Deletion Request". We may ask you to verify your identity before processing the request.
Note: Account deletion is an irreversible action. Once your data is anonymized and PII is removed, we cannot restore your account or previous booking history.
